A Message From Supervisor Kate Murray

Dear Friends,

If you enjoy a beautiful beach, a refreshing pool or a starlit concert in a neighborhood park, you will probably think summer went by way too fast. But, despite having such a tough act to follow, autumn is pretty special in its own right.
In Hempstead Town our biggest and best attractions of the year take place each fall. Our Classic Car Show is set for September 20 followed by the Family Festival by the Sea the weekend of September 27 and 28, and the historic Rock Hall Country Fair, October 25 and 26.
Of course there's an exciting selection of fitness, dance, art and swimming classes to enjoy as well. As always, we have a variety of children's activities to entertain our youngsters, from live performances to arts and crafts, karate and "check" out the new chess class.
As we put our bathing suits away and search for that favorite sweater, we wave summer goodbye and prepare to embrace the wonders of autumn. As this brochure attests, there's so much to see, so much to do, and so much to enjoy in the weeks ahead.
