Guidelines for the issuance of Dog licenses are mandated by New York State. The fee for unneutered male and unspayed female dogs is $7.50 plus a $3 spay/neuter fee imposed by and paid to New York State. The fee for neutered and spayed dogs is $2.50 with a valid veterinarian spay/neuter certificate. Proof of rabies inoculation is required. Renewal applications are sent directly to owners from Albany.
